PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance by varying the flow rate of cooling water according to wind speed distribution, because in the wind speed distribution of travel wind at the front face of a radiator, wind speed at the outsides in a vehicle width direction is fast.SOLUTION: A radiator 32 is arranged in front of a cylinder head 38a of an engine and a radiator core 50 thereof is directed to the front side. Projection parts 52 projecting rearward are provided on the outsides in the vehicle width direction of the radiator core 50. With this, the radiator core 50 becomes uneven in thickness in the longitudinal direction, and by thickening outer parts in the vehicle width direction, where the wind speed of contacting travel wind is fast and cooling efficiency is high, and by increasing the flow rate of cooling water at these parts, cooling performance is improved.
【目的】ラジエータの前面における走行風の風速分布は、車幅方向外側における風速が速くなるようになっている。したがって、風速分布に応じて冷却水の流量を変化させて冷却性能を向上させる。【解決手段】エンジンのシリンダヘッド38a前方に、ラジエータ32を配置し、そのラジエータコア50を前方へ向ける。ラジエータコア50の車幅方向外側に後方へ突出する突出部52を設ける。これにより、ラジエータコア50は前後方向の厚さが不均一となり、接触する走行風の風速が速く、冷却効率の高い車幅方向外側部分を厚くして、この部分における冷却水の流量を多くすることにより、冷却性能が向上する。【選択図】図2
