PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a transmission opportunity from an aircraft, improve throughput, shorten communication time as well as flight time, and reduce the fuel consumption or battery consumption of the aircraft.SOLUTION: A flight altitude control device controls the flight altitude of an aircraft equipped with a radio communication device. The device comprises: a radio quality measurement part 1 for measuring the quality of a channel used in radio communication that is performed between the radio communication device equipped in the aircraft and a radio communication device on the ground; and a flight altitude determination part 3 for determining whether or not a transmission opportunity of the radio communication device equipped in the aircraft can be obtained and determining the flight altitude of the aircraft, in which the transmission opportunity can be obtained, based on the measured quality of the channel. Thereby, the device makes the aircraft fly at the determined altitude.

    【課題】飛行体からの送信機会を確保し、スループットの向上、通信時間の短縮、飛行時間の短縮および飛行体の燃料消費またはバッテリ消費の削減を図る。【解決手段】本発明の飛行高度制御装置は、無線通信装置を搭載する飛行体の飛行高度を制御する飛行高度制御装置であって、前記飛行体に搭載されている無線通信装置および地上の無線通信装置の間で行なわれる無線通信で使用されているチャネルの品質を測定する無線品質測定部1と、前記測定したチャネルの品質に基づいて、前記飛行体に搭載されている無線通信装置の送信機会が得られるか否かを判断し、前記送信機会が得られる前記飛行体の飛行高度を決定する飛行高度決定部3と、を備え、前記飛行体を前記決定した高度で飛行させる。【選択図】図1
