PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an inverted movable body capable of transporting the inverted movable body easily.SOLUTION: There is provided a control method of an inverted movable body 1 which comprises: a boarding platform 11; driving wheels 21 and 22 as a ground-contacting module; and an auxiliary unit 50 as another ground-contacting module which is disposed on the front side or the rear side of the driving wheels. When it is detected that the auxiliary unit 50 is not in contact with the ground and a passenger is boarded on the boarding platform 11, inversion control is started. Since the inversion control is not started during the transportation of the inverted movable body 1, it is possible to transport the inverted movable body 1 easily.

    【課題】本発明の目的は、倒立型移動体を容易に運搬することができる倒立型移動体の制御方法を提供することである。【解決手段】搭乗台11と、地面接地モジュールとしての駆動輪21及び22と、駆動輪の前側又は後側に配置された他の地面接地モジュールとしての補助ユニット50とを備える倒立型移動体1の制御方法が提供される。補助ユニット50が接地していない且つ搭乗台11に搭乗者が乗車していることを検知した場合に倒立制御を開始する。倒立型移動体1の運搬の際に倒立制御が開始されることがなくなるため、倒立型移動体1を容易に運搬することができる。【選択図】図4
