PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress drastic deterioration in a drive efficiency of an engine when air density of the intake air of the engine is low.SOLUTION: A control apparatus performs: setting a target operation point of an engine using an instructed operation line; and re-setting (S160, S170) the target operation point of the engine using an atmospheric-pressure responsive NV line increasingly on a lower-revolution higher-torque side than a basic NV line as atmospheric pressure Pout is increasingly lower (i.e., air density of an engine intake air is low) when the instructed operation line is the basic NV line, with an actual operation point of the engine on a higher-revolution lower-torque side than the basic NV line (S100-S152).

    【課題】エンジンの吸入空気の空気密度が低いときにエンジンの運転効率が大きく低下するのを抑制する。【解決手段】指令動作ラインを用いてエンジンの目標動作点を設定し、指令動作ラインが基本NVラインで且つエンジンの実際の動作点が基本NVラインより高回転数低トルク側のときには(S100〜S152)、気圧Poutが低い(エンジンの吸入空気の空気密度が低い)ほど基本NVラインより低回転数高トルク側の気圧対応NVラインを用いてエンジンの目標動作点を再設定する(S160,S170)。【選択図】図3
