The friction brakes 112 may be used in combination with electric braking (e.g. regenerative braking). The available electric brake torque may depend on battery state of charge (SoC), temperature, condition of the battery and/or inverter, or speed of vehicle, or may be a predefined electric deceleration torque threshold. Available friction brake deceleration torque may be calculated based on temperature or condition of the friction brake components. Braking torque demand request may be calculated from a deceleration profile.
