The second steering rod section (12) has two guide surface pairs (121, 122) which lie opposite each other with respect to a longitudinal axis (A) of the steering rod (10) and extend in the direction of said longitudinal axis (A). Each guide surface pair (121, 122) has two guide surfaces (121a, 121b, 122a, 122b) which are angled relative to each other in a V-shaped manner. The invention additionally relates to a corresponding steering gear (4) of a steer-by-wire motor vehicle steering system.
