Provided is a rubber composition for sidewalls comprising a solution-polymerized aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene copolymer and carbon, wherein the solution-polymerized aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene copolymer has a functional group capable of interacting with carbon, the content of an aromatic vinyl monomer unit is 0.5 to 25% by weight, and the vinyl bond content of a conjugated diene monomer unit is 0 to 50% by weight.
