The invention relates to an assembly for transmitting longitudinal forces in a rail vehicle. A hydraulic axle link bearing (ALL) has an outer housing element (GEHA) and an inner housing element (GEHI) which are connected to a rotary frame (DGST) or a wheel set (RS1, RS2) of the rail vehicle in order to transmit longitudinal forces formed by the rail vehicle during travel between the wheel set (RS1, RS2) and the rotary frame (DGST). The axle link bearing (ALL) has two chambers (KAM1, KAM2) which are filled with a fluid (FLU) and lie opposite each other and each of which has a respective chamber volume. As a result of the longitudinal forces, a change in the position of the housing elements relative to each other is produced, said change resulting in an alternating change in volume of the two chambers (KAM1, KAM). The two chambers are coupled together via a fluid-containing line (LTG1, LTG2) which runs outside or externally to the axle link bearing (ALL), and the alternating change in volume of the two chambers (KAM, KAM2) is produced via a movement of the fluid (FLU). The external line (LTG1, LTG2) has a damping element (FDE), by means of which the movement of the fluid (FLU) between the two chambers (KAM1, KAM2) is damped.
