A determination method and device for collision prediction of an autonomous vehicle. Both an obstacle and an auto vehicle are considered as polygons in two-dimensional level with a bulge. Points on edges of the polygons at which a collision is likely to occur are determined according to a travel direction of the obstacle and a travel direction of the auto vehicle, to perform corresponding predicted obstacle path planning and predicted auto vehicle path planning. In addition, in a case that there are intersections between predicted obstacle paths and predicted auto vehicle paths, it is determined, according to an auto vehicle travel distance, a set safety distance, and a minimum distance, whether the auto vehicle is about to collide with the obstacle, and then a moment of a collision can be calculated, and a specific position on a vehicle body of the auto vehicle at which the auto vehicle is about to collide with the obstacle is accurately determined, thereby more accurately predicting whether the auto vehicle is about to collide with the obstacle. The method is applicable to structured roads such as straight roads, curvy roads, and crossings as well as unstructured roads, and differentiated processing is not required.
