A braking control system of a vehicle (10) including a friction braking apparatus (30), a regenerative braking apparatus (40), and an ECU (50) (control apparatus) that controls the braking apparatuses (30) and (40). The ECU (50) includes a target braking force calculation unit (52) that obtains a target braking force in accordance with the operation amount of a brake pedal (25) by a driver, a braking force determination unit (53) that determines a target friction braking force (first braking force) and a target regenerative braking force (second braking force) based on the target braking force, and a braking controller (51) that controls each of the braking apparatuses (30) and (40) such that each of the determined braking forces is generated in the vehicle (10). The braking force determination unit (53) determines the target friction braking force and the target regenerative braking force such that a sum of the target friction braking force and the target regenerative braking force becomes the target braking force and a pitch behavior specified by a preset pitch behavior model occurs in the vehicle (10).
