Described is a device (1) for connecting and closing the space between two units (3) of an articulated vehicle (2), comprising:- a plurality of inflatable tubular elements (10) which are made of flexible material, the tubular elements (10) in the plurality of tubular elements (10) being positioned one alongside the other and forming a tunnel structure having an upper wall (1c) and two side walls (1d, 1e), the structure having two ends (1a, 1b) which can be coupled to respective ends (3a, 3b) of the two units (3) of the articulated vehicle (2),- at least one opening (12) for introducing fluid inside at least one tubular element (10) in the plurality of tubular elements (10).The structure formed by the plurality of tubular elements (10), when inflated, is substantially self-supporting.
