The invention relates to a valve (1), in particular an acceleration valve, for establishing and interrupting a fluidic connection between a main air line (HLL) and the atmosphere (EX), having: - a housing (14) with an inlet opening (35) and an outlet opening (36) which are fluidically connected together, - an actuation direction (4a), - a first valve element which is designed to establish or interrupt the fluidic connection between the inlet opening (35) and the outlet opening (36), and - a second valve element which is designed to sealingly come into contact with the first valve element in order to interrupt the fluidic connection. The valve (1) is characterized in that a locking element is provided which is designed to lock the second valve element in a stand-by position and to block the valve element in at least one direction parallel to the actuation direction (4a) until a release condition is met.
