A steering device includes: an outer shaft (21) that is disposed around a center axis (AX) and includes an inner space (25) with a spline hole portion (40); and an inner shaft (22) at least a part of which is disposed in the inner space (25). The inner shaft (22) includes a first spline shaft portion (44) including a synthetic resin surface disposed around the center axis (AX) and includes a shaft portion (45) that is disposed adjacent to one side of the first spline shaft portion (44) in an axial direction parallel to the center axis (AX), includes one end of the inner shaft disposed in the inner space (25), and includes a synthetic resin surface disposed around the center axis (AX). A distance between the center axis (AX) and the surface of the shaft portion (45) is smaller than a distance between the center axis (AX) and the surface of the first spline shaft portion (44). The spline hole portion (40) and the first spline shaft portion (44) are spline-fitted to each other, and the outer shaft (21) and the inner shaft (22) are relatively movable in the axial direction.
