A first voltmeter (45) measures a voltage of a connector (3) held by a holder (4) of a vehicle power device. A second voltmeter (15) measures a voltage of a second port (114) of a power converter (1) when the connector (3) is held by the holder (4). A controller (12) detects presence or absence of a malfunction in a connector-side switch (30) based on: measurement results of the voltmeters while controlling the connector-side switch (30) so that electrical connection between the second port (114) and the connector (3) is broken; and measurement results of the voltmeters while controlling the connector-side switch (30) so that the electrical connection is made.
