The invention relates to a turbine system which can be installed on a vehicle and has a wind shield and propeller for saving fuel in a vehicle, wherein the propeller has a diameter between 10% and 120%, preferably between 15% and 110% and particularly preferably between 20% and 100% of the diameter of the turbine, and the windshield is an annular housing which surrounds the turbine and has an outer contour with the distance from the axis of rotation of the turbine increasing towards the side facing the vehicle, wherein the increasing of the distance between the inner contour of the wind shield and the axis of rotation of the turbine is characterised by a gradient angle of 1° to 45° and the outer contour of the wind shield is not circular in the front projection, but rather adapted to the shape of the front projection surface of the vehicle front and preferably forms a rounded rectangle, and the turbine and the propeller can be attached to the front of the vehicle using the turbine holder.
