The invention relates to an electric vehicle self-adaptive energy recovery method and system fusing driver behaviors, and the method comprises the following steps: analyzing the current driving data and historical driving data of a vehicle, judging a driving style, and predicting the occurrence probability of the driving style; according to the current driving data of the vehicle, the mass of the whole vehicle is estimated, and two values of the gradient are calculated through two different algorithms respectively; setting a weight according to a preset vehicle speed critical value, and weighting the two values to obtain a fusion gradient; according to the current driving data of the vehicle, the whole vehicle mass, the fusion gradient and the driving style occurrence probability, corresponding correction factors are determined respectively, the initial braking torque corresponding to the current motor rotating speed is corrected to obtain a reference braking torque, and the reference braking torque is compared with a preset motor torque range; and the optimal braking torque is obtained, braking is executed, and energy recovery is achieved. According to the method, distribution of regenerative braking energy is effectively optimized, and the energy recovery rate is increased.
