The invention belongs to the technical field of driver detection, and particularly relates to a driver fatigue monitoring method fusing visual identification and vehicle signals. The strategy provided by the invention can autonomously and automatically perform preferential processing in the states of direct fatigue monitoring, indirect fatigue monitoring, fatigue warning reminding and the like, so that a judgment result closer to the actual condition is obtained. And the availability of facial feature points and vehicle signals is continuously and timely detected, so that a high-credibility monitoring mode is automatically recovered after recoverable faults disappear.
