According to the method, the load of the vehicle is calculated in real time, when the vehicle is braked, the maximum braking negative torque is determined according to the braking depth and the load of the vehicle, the braking recovery torque applied to each driving wheel of the vehicle by a driving motor is determined according to the maximum braking negative torque, and the driving motor is controlled to apply the corresponding braking recovery torque to the corresponding driving wheel. The recovery rate of braking energy is increased while safe braking of the vehicle is achieved.
