The invention provides a reverse control device, which starts reverse of a connected vehicle based on automatic driving only when conditions for properly performing automatic driving are provided, and can stably perform reverse of the connected vehicle based on automatic driving. An automatic driving ECU (71) functioning as a retreat control device is mounted on a towing vehicle (11) of a connected vehicle (1) connecting a towed vehicle (12) to the towing vehicle (11), and controls the towing vehicle (11) during automatic retreat driving in which the connected vehicle (1) is retreated by automatic driving. An automatic driving ECU (71) starts automatic back-up driving when traction back-up start conditions including a vehicle speed of a traction vehicle (11) being equal to or less than a predetermined value and a steering torque of the traction vehicle (11) being equal to or less than a predetermined value are satisfied.

    本发明提供一种后退控制装置,仅在具备用于适当地进行自动驾驶的条件的情况下开始基于自动驾驶的连结车辆的后退,能够稳定地进行基于连结车辆的自动驾驶的后退。作为后退控制装置发挥功能的自动驾驶ECU(71)搭载于将被牵引车辆(12)连结于牵引车辆(11)的连结车辆(1)的牵引车辆(11),在通过自动驾驶使连结车辆(1)后退的自动后退驾驶时控制牵引车辆(11)。自动驾驶ECU(71)在包括牵引车辆(11)的车速为规定值以下以及牵引车辆(11)的转向操纵扭矩为规定值以下的牵引后退开始条件被满足的情况下,开始自动后退驾驶。
