The invention relates to a mobile robot and an obstacle crossing method.The mobile robot comprises a support, first leg assemblies and second leg assemblies, and the multiple first leg assemblies are movably connected with the support and ascend or descend relative to the support; the second leg assembly is connected with the support, the second leg assembly is located in an area defined by the multiple first leg assemblies, and the second leg assembly is used for assisting any first leg assembly in ascending or descending. As the second leg assembly is used for assisting any first leg assembly in lifting or descending, when any first leg assembly is lifted, the phenomenon that the whole mobile robot shakes or turns over due to loss of support of one or more first leg assemblies is avoided, the gravity center of the mobile robot is stable during obstacle crossing, and the obstacle crossing quality of the mobile robot is improved. And the mobile robot can stably pass through a complex road surface. The obstacle crossing method is applied to the mobile robot, and the robot can stably pass through a complex road surface.

    本发明涉及一种移动机器人及越障方法,所述移动机器人包括支架、第一腿组件及第二腿组件,多个所述第一腿组件分别与所述支架活动连接,并相对所述支架抬升或降下;第二腿组件与所述支架连接,且所述第二腿组件位于多个所述第一腿组件所围设的区域内,所述第二腿组件用于辅助任一所述第一腿组件抬升或下降。由于第二腿组件用于辅助任一第一腿组件抬升或降下,则任意第一腿组件抬升时,移动机器人的整体都不会因失去该一个或多个第一腿组件的支撑而发生晃动或倾翻的现象,使移动机器人在越障时的重心稳定,使移动机器人能够平稳通行复杂路面。越障方法应用于上述移动机器人,能够使机器人平稳通行复杂路面。
