The invention discloses a simple suspension mobile contact network and an operation method. The simple suspension mobile contact network comprises a supporting device, a supporting stand column, a contact line, a first sling, a second sling, a power device and a tension compensation device. One end of the contact line is connected with the power device, and the other end of the contact line is connected with the tension compensation device; the first end of the supporting device is connected to the contact line, and the third end of the supporting device rotates relative to the supporting stand column. One end of the first sling and one end of the second sling are both connected with the second end of the supporting device, and the other end of the first sling and the other end of the second sling are connected with the contact line. The problem that in the prior art, when an overhead line system moves, a supporting device is subjected to torsional moment in the vertical direction, and therefore the moving effect of the overhead line system is affected is solved. Therefore, equal stress at the joint of the supporting device and the movable contact suspension is achieved, torsional moment in the vertical direction is avoided, the structure of the movable contact suspension is simplified, and investment, construction and operation cost is saved.
