The invention discloses a device and a method for equidistantly moving a movable contact suspension of a movable contact net, belongs to the technical field of electrified railway contact nets, and solves the problem that the distances of the movable contact suspension moving away from the center of a line are not equidistant due to rotation of a supporting mechanism in the prior art. Each middle supporting column is provided with a positioning frame. Each sliding mechanism is connected with the first end of the supporting mechanism at the corresponding position, the second end of each supporting mechanism is connected with the movable contact suspension, one end of the movable contact suspension is connected with the first anchoring supporting column through the power mechanism, and the other end of the movable contact suspension is connected with the second anchoring supporting column through the first tension compensation mechanism. The first end of the second auxiliary cable is fixedly connected with the first lower anchoring supporting column, and the middle position is fixedly connected with the lower end of the sliding mechanism at the corresponding position. It can be guaranteed that the supporting mechanism can be perpendicular to the line at any temperature, and the center of the line can be moved away at equal distances through moving contact suspension.
