The invention relates to marine hydrofoil operation control. Specifically, a computer system (150; 900) includes a processing circuit (152; 902) configured to: obtain (S1) data indicative of a target total lift (Ftot) to be generated by a front hydrofoil device (120) of a marine vessel (100) and by a rear hydrofoil device (130) of the marine vessel (100), where the target total lift is associated with a constant heave (y) of the vessel (100); determining (S2) a lift difference between a current lift of the vessel (100) and the target total lift based on a state of the rear hydrofoil device (130); and adjusting (S3) an angle of attack (AoA) of the front hydrofoil device (120) to compensate for the lift difference.
