The invention discloses a planthopper-imitating bouncing robot which comprises a planthopper shell, a gear transmission mechanism, bouncing mechanisms and a steering mechanism, the gear transmission mechanism is arranged in the planthopper shell, the bouncing mechanisms are arranged on the two sides of the planthopper shell, sliding grooves are formed in the side walls of the planthopper shell, a sliding block is rotationally connected to the inflection point of a forelimb front connecting rod structure, and the steering mechanism is arranged on the planthopper shell. Two connecting rods of the forelimb front connecting rod structure are a long connecting rod and a short connecting rod, one end of the forelimb rear connecting rod structure is rotationally installed on the planthopper shell, located on the side, away from the forelimb front connecting rod structure, of the sliding groove and connected with the sliding block through a spring, and the other end of the forelimb rear connecting rod structure is hinged to the short connecting rod close to the forelimb rear connecting rod structure. The side wall of the planthopper shell is further provided with a take-up wheel close to the front limb rear connecting rod structure, and a rope on the take-up wheel is connected with the sliding block. The transmission efficiency is improved by using the take-up wheel to contract the rope, and a biological structure is better simulated; steering of the whole device is achieved through the steering mechanism.
