The invention discloses a train sanding control method, and relates to the technical field of system control. The method comprises the steps that the distance between the top end of a train sand box and a sand body in the sand box is measured, and distance measurement information is obtained; measuring the pressure of the sand body in the train sand box to obtain pressure measurement information; according to the distance measurement information, determining fluctuation information of a first curve at the current moment, and according to the fluctuation information, judging whether the posture of the sand box is abnormal at the current moment to obtain a first judgment result; under the condition that the first judgment result represents that the posture of the sand box is not abnormal, sand level information is determined according to the distance measurement information and the attribute information of the sand box; under the condition that the first judgment result represents that the posture of the sand box is abnormal, sand level information is determined according to the pressure measurement information and a second curve; according to the technical scheme, the accuracy and reliability of the sanding control process can be improved.
