The invention relates to a method for evaluating a traffic scene having a plurality of traffic participants, comprising the steps of:-providing input data which are obtained from an acquisition of the traffic scene and which specify the traffic participants and associated features, the features being based at least in part on current and past states of the traffic participants; providing a representation of the traffic participants and their relationships between each other in the traffic scene and of an infrastructure of the traffic scene, the relationships being specified on the basis of the features, the infrastructure being represented by a parameterized representation, the representation representing a plurality of nodes having a graph, the nodes representing the respective traffic participants, and the nodes representing the respective traffic participants; the representative has a plurality of graphical edges which specifically specify the relationship between the traffic participants,-forecasting the future development of the traffic scene, the forecasting being carried out taking into account the current and past states of the traffic participants, the behavior of all the representative traffic participants being forecasted on the basis of the provided representative, and wherein the representative has a plurality of graphical edges which specifically specify the relationship between the traffic participants and each other,-forecasting the future development of the traffic scene, and providing a result of the forecast.
