The invention provides an over-discharge prevention method and device for a power battery under undervoltage and a battery management controller. The over-discharge prevention method comprises the following steps: acquiring a working state of the battery; and judging whether the battery is under-voltage according to the working state of the battery: when the battery is under-voltage, reducing the calculation frequency of the battery module controller and the communication frequency of the battery module controller and the battery management controller so as to reduce the power supply loop current of the battery to the battery module controller. According to the method, when the undervoltage of the battery is identified, the calculation and communication frequency of the battery module controller is actively reduced to the greatest extent, so that a loop between the battery and the battery module controller is not a current under normal work any more, the battery is protected to the greatest extent, long-time over-discharge is avoided under the undervoltage condition, and the service life of the battery module controller is prolonged. Thermal runaway possibly caused by serious over-discharge is avoided, and completely irreversible loss is avoided; moreover, the method does not need to add extra hardware, and does not increase extra cost.

    本发明提供一种动力电池欠压下的防过放方法及装置、电池管理控制器,防过放方法包括:获取所述电池的工作状态;根据所述电池的工作状态,判断所述电池是否欠压:当所述电池欠压时,降低所述电池模组控制器的计算频率及其与所述电池管理控制器的通讯频率,以减小所述电池向所述电池模组控制器的供电回路电流。该方法识别到电池欠压时,最大程度主动降低电池模组控制器的计算和通讯频率,使电池和电池模组控制器之间的回路不再是正常工作下的电流,从而最大程度的保护电池,在已经欠压的情况下不会长时间的过放,进而规避严重过放可能带来的热失控,避免造成完全不可逆的损失;并且,该方法不需要增加额外的硬件,不会增加额外的成本。
