A low-constant-speed walking system of a rail transit vehicle comprises a walking part, a hydraulic motor, a motor valve group, a two-position six-way electromagnetic directional valve, a speed regulation control valve and a walking hydraulic system which is composed of a hydraulic oil source for supplying oil to the hydraulic motor and serves as a second power source for driving the walking part, and a first power source for driving the walking part through other power of the vehicle. The second power source is connected with the first power source in parallel and acts on the axle gear box together with the first power source to drive the walking part to enable the vehicle to walk. A hydraulic motor of the walking hydraulic system is installed on a switching input port of an axle gear box, and the axle gear box has a clutch function connected with the hydraulic motor. The walking system has the advantages that the speed maintaining stability is good, the speed difference between the low speed gear and the extremely low speed gear is large, and linear adjustment can be kept in the wide speed change amplitude.
