The invention discloses an active camber angle adjusting device and method based on a Macpherson suspension, an electric push rod and a hydraulic push rod are arranged in the suspension, the electric push rod is obliquely arranged, a seat body of the electric push rod is hinged to an electromagnetic valve shock absorber in the suspension, and a push rod shaft is hinged to a stand column used for installing wheels in the suspension; the hydraulic push rod is horizontally arranged, a seat body of the hydraulic push rod is fixed on the electromagnetic valve shock absorber, and a push rod shaft is fixed on the upright post; the infrared thermal imaging camera is arranged on a chassis of a vehicle body and is used for detecting tire temperature in real time and sending tire temperature data to the ECU; the laser radar is arranged on a vehicle body and used for detecting the elevation of a front road surface and sending data to the ECU. The camera acquires curved straight road information and sends the data to the ECU; the ECU adjusts the extending stroke of the electric push rod and/or the hydraulic push rod according to the obtained road elevation data and the curved straight road information so as to adjust the inclination angle of the wheels. The optimal camber angle is comprehensively obtained according to the road condition information and the tire temperature, and operation stability and comfort are improved.
