The method is applied to the charging system, and specifically comprises the steps that according to the current charging requirement, a plurality of charging module combinations and distribution power information corresponding to each charging module combination are determined, and the distribution power information comprises distribution power corresponding to each charging module; according to the distribution power information corresponding to each charging module combination and the connection relationship between each AC input port and each charging module, total efficiency information corresponding to each charging module combination is determined, and the total efficiency information is used for indicating the total efficiency or total loss of the charging system corresponding to each charging module combination; and determining a target charging module combination according to the total efficiency information corresponding to each charging module combination, so that the power difference value of each AC input port meets a preset condition. According to the invention, the charging efficiency of the charging system can be optimized, the AC line loss can be reduced, and the operation benefit of the charging station can be improved.
