The invention provides a variable stiffness sliding composite flexible skin system and a using method, the system comprises a wing used for installing a tension control mechanism, a skin sliding end fixing mechanism, a slidable deformation skin structure and a driving device, the system comprises a connecting wall and a pair of middle rib plates, and the middle rib plates are fixed to the connecting wall; a gap for mounting a tension control mechanism is formed by the pair of middle rib plates; the tension control mechanism, the slidable deformation skin structure and the skin fixed end fixing structure are connected in sequence; the slidable deformation skin structure comprises a skin, one end of the skin is fixedly connected with the skin fixing end fixing structure, and the other end of the skin is movably connected with the tension control mechanism; the skin fixed end fixing structure is connected with the connecting wall through a driving device; the driving device can stretch out and draw back and is hinged between the connecting wall and the skin fixing end fixing structure, and when the skin needs to deform, the skin can stretch out along with the driving device to be bent; and the skin sliding end fixing mechanism is used for locking the skin when deformation of the skin is not needed, and is arranged on the middle rib plate. The continuous and smooth deformation requirement of the wing surface can be met, and the rigidity and bearing requirements during high-speed flight of an aircraft can also be met.
