The embodiment of the invention provides a vehicle speed control method and device based on a navigation auxiliary function, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: determining a corresponding target intersection on a target driving route according to the target driving route of a vehicle; obtaining a target driving speed corresponding to the target intersection; determining a deceleration distance according to the target driving speed of the target intersection, the current driving speed of the vehicle and a preset deceleration acceleration; and controlling the vehicle to decelerate from the deceleration distance from the target intersection, so that the speed of the vehicle is the target driving speed when the vehicle drives to the target intersection. In the embodiment of the invention, the target driving speed of the target intersection is determined in advance, and then the vehicle is controlled to start to slow down at a proper position, so that the vehicle speed is changed to the target driving speed when the vehicle passes through the target intersection, the vehicle can safely pass through the target intersection, and the driving safety of the vehicle is improved; and the traffic accident rate is reduced.
