The invention relates to the technical field of pure electric vehicle manufacturing, and discloses a distributed driving electric vehicle braking torque optimization method. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring brake related data of the distributed driving electric vehicle, wherein the brake related data comprises brake intensity, battery remaining capacity, vehicle speed of the distributed driving electric vehicle and brake energy recovery state; calculating the braking level of the distributed driving electric vehicle according to the braking related data; and performing braking torque distribution on the distributed driving electric vehicle according to the braking level. According to the method, the braking safety is effectively guaranteed, meanwhile, more space is provided for improving the braking energy recovery efficiency, the limitation of a traditional multi-target optimization algorithm is improved, the application range is larger, and torque distribution is more reasonable.
