The embodiment of the invention discloses a visual expressway risk identification method and system, and the method comprises the steps: collecting the traffic flow data and visibility data of an expressway; determining a grading standard of traffic risks; and according to the grading standard, the traffic flow data and the visibility data, carrying out visual display on the risk of each road section in an electronic map. According to the embodiment of the invention, the risk of the road section is graded and visually displayed.
