The invention relates to the field of mobile robots. The embodiment of the invention provides a method for a mobile robot to take an elevator. The method comprises the steps that a current elevator is called to run to an elevator taking point of a floor where the current mobile robot is located; when the mobile robot takes the current elevator at the elevator taking point according to the current elevator taking instruction, the mobile robot is controlled to navigate towards the elevator area; whether the position of the mobile robot is between the observation position and the elevator area or not is monitored in real time; if yes, whether a target area occupied by the mobile robot exists in the elevator area or not is judged according to information, obtained by the mobile robot, in the current elevator; comprising the steps that whether the target area exists in an elevator center area or not is judged; whether the target area exists in other areas except the elevator center area in the elevator area or not is judged; and if at least one target area exists, the mobile robot navigates to one target area and occupies the target area to take the current elevator.

    本发明涉及移动机器人领域。本发明实施例提供一种移动机器人乘坐电梯的方法,包括:呼叫当前电梯运行至当前移动机器人所在楼层的乘梯点;当移动机器人于所述乘梯点根据乘坐当前电梯指令乘坐当前电梯时,控制移动机器人朝向电梯区域导航;实时监测移动机器人的位置是否在观测位置与电梯区域之间;若是,则根据移动机器人获取的当前电梯内的信息,判断电梯区域内是否存在用于移动机器人占用的目标区域;包括:判断电梯中心区域是否存在所述目标区域;判断电梯区域中除电梯中心区域之外的其它区域是否存在目标区域;若存在至少一个所述目标区域,则移动机器人向一个所述目标区域导航并占据所述一个所述目标区域乘坐当前电梯。
