The invention provides a parking space detection method, electronic equipment, a storage medium and a vehicle. The parking space detection method is applied to a target vehicle, and comprises the following steps: obtaining vehicle feature information of parked vehicles around a free area; and determining the parking direction of the target vehicle in the free area according to the vehicle feature information. According to the method, the parking direction of the target vehicle in the free area is determined through the vehicle feature information, so that the parking direction of the target vehicle can be determined under the condition that the parking space guide line and the separation line around the free area cannot be recognized or do not exist, and thus the accuracy of parking space detection and parking of the target vehicle is effectively improved; and the space utilization rate in the free area is improved.
