The invention provides a vehicle charging method and device, equipment, a storage medium and a computer program product, and the method comprises the steps: determining the insertion time of a charging gun under the condition that the insertion of the charging gun is detected; acquiring first reservation information corresponding to the reservation charging mode; the first reservation information comprises a first time period and a first charging position; the first reservation information is used for indicating that charging is started according to the reservation charging mode when the insertion moment of a charging gun is in the first time period and the current position of the vehicle belongs to the first charging position; determining a second time period, wherein the second time period is different from the first time period; determining a current position of the vehicle; and under the condition that the insertion moment of the charging gun belongs to the second time period and the current position of the vehicle belongs to the first charging position, charging is started according to the reserved charging mode.
