The invention provides an operation recovery method and device after a train fault, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: disconnecting the communication with ground equipment after a vehicle-mounted ATP loses positioning, controlling the train to brake emergently and stop, and calculating the difference value between the running distance of the train after stopping and the running distance of the train before losing positioning; calculating the current position of the train based on the difference value between the running distance of the train after parking and the running distance of the train before positioning loss and the position of the train before positioning loss; sending a positioning recovery request and the current position of the train to ground center equipment; positioning recovery authorization sent by the ground center equipment is received, the current position of the train is registered and sent to the ground equipment, and the positioning recovery authorization is generated after the ground center equipment confirms that the current position of the train is credible; conventional movement authorization sent by the ground equipment is received, the train is controlled to start running, and the conventional movement authorization is generated by the ground equipment based on the current position of the train.
