A computer-implemented method for providing computing power from a computing unit (1) of a vehicle (2) comprises: recording or acquiring operational information of the vehicle (2); determining status data based on operating information of the vehicle (2); and providing computing power from a computing unit (1) of the vehicle (2) based on the status data. A set of power electronics is also provided.
