The brake assembly I comprises a bracket, a brake piston, a brake pad, a friction plate I, a connecting rod, a brake column, an oil pump and an oil supply pipe; the bracket is mounted on a chassis of the explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicle; the brake piston is installed on the bracket, and a brake pad parallel to the brake disc is installed at the output end of the brake piston. A friction plate I is installed on the side face, facing the brake disc, of the brake pad. A connecting rod parallel to the brake disc is installed on the brake pad. A brake column perpendicular to the brake disc is mounted on the connecting rod; the oil pump is installed on the anti-explosion rubber-tyred vehicle, and an oil supply pipe is connected between the oil pump and the input end of the brake piston. The device can realize quick braking and is higher in safety.
