The invention relates to the technical field of active equalization units, and discloses an active equalization circuit of a power battery. The power battery comprises a plurality of battery units which are connected in series, and the active equalization circuit comprises a battery end interface unit which is used for being connected with a battery unit to be equalized; the low-voltage side of the voltage conversion unit comprises a plurality of low-voltage conversion sub-modules, each low-voltage conversion sub-module is connected with the corresponding battery unit, and the high-voltage side of the voltage conversion unit is connected with the power battery. According to the active equalization circuit of the power battery, the battery unit to be equalized is discharged through the battery end interface unit connected with the battery unit to be equalized, energy released by the battery unit is transferred to the whole power battery through the voltage conversion unit, and different control strategies are adopted for two working modes of constant current and constant voltage of a charger; the real-time equalization of the power battery is realized, and the equalization efficiency is improved.
