The inspection and decontamination robot comprises an unmanned aerial vehicle body, a camera device, a decontamination device and a detection device, the unmanned aerial vehicle body comprises a base, a flying mechanism and a walking mechanism, the walking mechanism is connected with the base and used for driving the base to walk, and the flying mechanism is connected with the base and used for driving the base and the walking mechanism to fly; the camera device is installed on the base and used for shooting an object image and obtaining the position of dirt on the object. The dirt cleaning device is mounted on the base and is used for cleaning dirt on the object according to an image shot by the camera device; the detection device is installed on the base and used for detecting electrical characteristics of the object. According to the scheme, land-air amphibious inspection can be achieved, the system can be suitable for a more complex environment, hot spots on the photovoltaic panel assembly can be cleaned, abnormal photovoltaic panels can be checked, the overall power generation efficiency of a photovoltaic assembly array is improved, functions are diversified, practicability is better, and meanwhile the operation and maintenance cost is greatly reduced.
