The invention relates to a method for controlling a charging process between a drive battery (11) of a vehicle (10) and a vehicle-external charging partner (12), comprising: detecting a charging process between the drive battery (11) and the charging partner (12), the charging process being carried out by means of a charger (13) and a communication bus (14); determining at least one operating parameter specific to the charging process; during the charging process, at least a part of the communication bus (14) is deactivated as a function of the determined at least one operating parameter. The invention also relates to a vehicle (10) for carrying out the method, to a computer program product (15) for carrying out the method, and to a storage medium (16) on which the computer program product (15) is stored.
