The invention provides sidewall rubber and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of tires. The anti-aging agent-free sidewall rubber is prepared by adopting ethylene propylene diene monomer as base rubber, adding zinc methacrylate and carbon black N330 as fillers and using a sulfur vulcanization system and a peroxide vulcanization system. The sidewall rubber has excellent mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, high elongation at break and the like, and good ozone aging resistance and thermo-oxidative aging resistance, so that the ethylene propylene diene monomer can meet the use requirements of the sidewall rubber under the condition that an anti-aging agent is not added, and the sidewall rubber has long service life.
本发明提供了一种胎侧胶及其制备方法,属于轮胎技术领域。本发明采用三元乙丙橡胶为基础胶,添加甲基丙烯酸锌和炭黑N330作为填料,并使用硫黄硫化体系和过氧化物硫化体系,制备出一种不含防老剂的胎侧胶。该胎侧胶具有高拉伸强度、高拉断伸长率等优异力学性能,以及良好的耐臭氧老化性能和耐热氧老化性能,从而使得三元乙丙橡胶能够在不添加防老剂的情况下满足胎侧胶的使用要求,并且获得长的使用寿命。
