The invention provides a vehicle braking force distribution method and system, and the method comprises the steps: determining the braking force of each axle according to the braking force deceleration of the vehicle, the whole vehicle mass and the braking force distribution coefficient of each axle of the vehicle when a braking deceleration request of the vehicle is detected; calculating the vertical load variation of the axle according to the anti-braking nodding rate and the braking force of the axle; obtaining vehicle information of the vehicle, a first longitudinal distance between an axle and the center of mass of the vehicle, and a second longitudinal distance between each axle and each other axle; determining the vertical load of each axle according to the vehicle information, the anti-braking nodding rate of each axle, the braking force, the first longitudinal distance and the second longitudinal distance from each other axle; calculating the total vertical load of each axle according to the vertical load variation of the vertical load of each axle; and the target braking force of each axle is determined according to the slip rate and the total vertical load of each axle, and the target braking force of each axle is distributed to the corresponding axle.
