The invention relates to a kinetic energy recovery method and system, a hybrid mixer truck and a storage medium, the method is applied to the hybrid mixer truck, the hybrid mixer truck comprises an engine, a generator and an upper motor, and the method comprises the steps that first vehicle information of the hybrid mixer truck is obtained; if the first vehicle information meets a preset condition, executing a kinetic energy recovery strategy of the hybrid mixer truck to control a generator to convert kinetic energy into electric energy to drive an upper motor; acquiring second vehicle information of the hybrid mixer truck; and adjusting a kinetic energy recovery strategy according to the second vehicle information. The generator of the hybrid mixer truck is used for achieving kinetic energy recovery and driving the upper part, the kinetic energy recovery strategy is dynamically adjusted based on the real-time state of the truck, and stable deceleration of the truck is achieved while kinetic energy recovery is conducted on the hybrid mixer truck.
