The method comprises the following steps: acquiring surrounding environment information of a vehicle in a current historical time period based on a radar system and an image acquisition device of the vehicle; based on the other vehicle state information, the vehicle state information and the vehicle distance information in the current historical time period, at least two pieces of prediction information are obtained through at least two transverse safe distance prediction models; determining first transverse collision risk indication information according to the minimum transverse predicted safety distance in the at least two transverse predicted safety distances; when the first transverse collision risk indication information indicates that the transverse collision risk exists, a first anti-collision strategy is determined according to prediction information corresponding to the minimum transverse prediction safety distance, and the driving state of the vehicle in the prediction time period is determined based on the first anti-collision strategy. Therefore, a corresponding anti-collision strategy can be provided when the possible transverse collision risk in the future is predicted, and the occurrence probability of the transverse collision is reduced.
