The novel hub speed reduction electric wheel comprises a hub, a tire and a hub bearing, the hub comprises an outer hub and an inner hub shell, a shell inner cavity comprising a first cavity and a second cavity is formed in the inner hub shell in the first direction, a motor is arranged in the first cavity, and a planetary gear speed reduction mechanism is arranged in the second cavity; the motor and the planetary gear reducing mechanism are located in the same diameter direction of the hub, the tire is arranged on the outer hub in a sleeving mode, the hub bearing is located in the hub and arranged on the central axis of the hub, a rotor of the motor is in driving connection with a sun gear of the planetary gear reducing mechanism, and an outer ring of the hub bearing is connected with an inner hub shell.
