The invention relates to the technical field of freight traffic demand prediction, and discloses a traffic demand prediction traffic model based on macroscopic data and individual activity simulation, which comprises a macroscopic data analysis module, an individual activity simulation module, a mixed traffic model construction module and a dynamic demand simulation module. When the traffic demand prediction traffic model based on macroscopic data and individual activity simulation is used, through application of the macroscopic data analysis module, information sources such as urban traffic big data can be fully utilized, the accuracy and reliability of freight traffic demand prediction are improved, and through introduction of the individual activity simulation module, the traffic demand prediction accuracy and reliability are improved. The method can better capture the influence of the individual activity behaviors on the freight traffic demand, improves the accuracy of the prediction result, can capture the dynamic characteristics of the freight traffic demand along with time and space changes through the application of the dynamic demand simulation module, provides a real-time prediction result, and improves the timeliness and accuracy of prediction.
