The invention belongs to the field of rubber, and particularly relates to a tread rubber composition and a preparation method thereof. On the basis of solution polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber with low rolling resistance, the white carbon black rubber compound is compounded to replace natural rubber and white carbon black, and carbon nanotubes are introduced, so that low rolling resistance and good wet grabbing performance of the tire can be realized on the whole, and meanwhile, the conductive problem of the tire is solved.
